Applied/Integrated Academics

Academic areas are reinforced with the CHOICE modules through real-life applications. Concepts of Physical Science, Mathematics, English, Social Science, and Computer Science are provided through a triple-stimulus method of seeing, hearing, and doing (visual, auditory, and tactile). This allows students to grasp a series of activities and move ahead at their own pace, learning the necessary academics as they progress.

Tech Prep

CHOICE modules provide the Career Exploration component of the Tech Prep delivery model. This series of over 70 instructional workstations is designed to introduce students to business, industrial, service, construction, and technology occupations by having them perform simulations of actual on-the-job tasks.

Special Population Students

CHOICE has been particularly successful as a pre-vocational learning system for the physically and mentally handicapped users. CHOICE's step-by-step method of instruction enables learning to occur at a comfortable rate for any development level. Adaptations of the system are widely used for visually and hearing impaired users, as well as for many with other disabilities. This provides for prerequisite skill development, ensuring successful transition and/or support of vocational technical training programs.
