Construction Zone Lab
The Construction
Zone lab is a great way to introduce students to the high paying
careers in the construction trades. After rotating through the modules
in the Construction Zone lab, a student may decide on a specific
trade and then pursue additional educational opportunities.
Every
module contains a well-planned curriculum that takes students ten
hours to complete. The instruction manual, audio tapes, worksheets,
and tools of the trade provide an exciting "hands-on" learning experience.
Questech construction
training modules introduce students to a wide spectrum of career
opportunities in the construction industry.
Career Exploration in the Construction Trades
Questech's simulated
construction trades training modules allow each student to explore
a variety of construction trades. Students work in teams using professional
tools of the trade to complete well-designed training exercises
that relate to that trade.
Skill development,
standard trade practices, projected salary and other elements of
each skilled trade are presented in easy-to-understand format. Classes
are not designed to make a student proficient
in any one trade but enable them to explore the basic aspects of
each trade and how the different trades work together on a construction
project.
