Specifically designed to simulate industrial robot operations in the classroom or laboratory, over 5,000 TeachMovers are used in elementary and secondary schools, colleges, universities and industrial training programs. Teach ControlThe Teach Control makes programming the TeachMover as simple as operating a hand-held calculator but permits surprisingly sophisticated routines. Using the keys on the Teach Control, the user programs the arm to execute any series of movements; the finished program can then be edited and repeated. The TeachMover can also be operated in conjunction with most computers through their RS-232C ports. Five Axes of MovementThe TeachMover's possible motions include base rotation, shoulder bend, elbow bend, wrist pitch and wrist roll, so it can simulate the motions of most industrial units in production situations.
